It was another great meeting last night. We looked at designer cancer caps, discussed how easy they are to make and the possibility of using them as a fundraising item for Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Centre. (www.Wellspring.ca/Chinguacousy). Other topics discussed at this meeting were Winter safety: how to be especially careful when feeling weak from cancer treatments to get around safely.

Also discussed were the many volunteer and peer support opportunities at Wellspring Chinguacousy, and fundraising ideas to help Wellspring Chinguacousy continue to provide free services to cancer patients and their caregivers.

We are open to more topics to be discussed at are next meeting in February. If you can send ideas for topics into us to prep for discussion that would be wonderful. We welcome all newcomers with open arms. Hugs are free if you are needing some, shoulders to cry on are readily available and so are the opportunities to begin many new friendships. Please join us for the February 20th meeting for more fun, information sharing, caring and laughter.
