ABOUT US:

WOWS! Brampton is a Cancer Peer Support group for any woman who has received a cancer diagnosis. You are  welcome to join us at our monthly meetings.

You will have a safe, confidential place to share, to give and receive peer support and to learn.

This support group is run by women for women:

Laurie is a Canadian Cancer Society/Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Wellspring trained Volunteer Peer Support Group Facilitator who is a Breast Cancer Survivor.

Arland is a Canadian Cancer Society and Wellspring trained Volunteer Peer Support Group Facilitator who is a 3x cancer survivor and is our group inspiration and keeper of loads of experience!

We welcome Iris to our WOWS! team for those members who would like one-to-one support with a triple negative breast cancer diagnosis.
Iris is also a Canadian Cancer Society/Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation trained Volunteer Peer Support Group Facilitator who is a Breast Cancer Survivor.

Between us, and with WOWS! MEMBERS shared experiences, we have the ability to support you and get you to the resources that will best assist you in your recovery, or we can provide emotional support if you are facing any stage of cancer diagnosis up to and including end of life.

Members have been invited to several meetings to share their expertise on some of the following topics:
